London-based Tirzah recently dropped two new singles 'Send Me' and 'Sink In', her most recent releases since 2018's Devotion. Seemingly on a roll, she releases another single titled 'Tectonic' with a strange and unusual video made using photogrammetry and 3D Animation by Tonio Mundry, Mind & Image. An ominous, stretched out drone begins the track; there's a fuzzy layer, as well as a low string-like element, reminiscent of a bowed double bass. Quickly, the track gains an 80s style hip hop beat, where the ominous tones reappear, creating a strange bass line. Usually Tirzah sings, but this time she speaks to covey her message, 'When you touch me, I'm out my body, instinct takes place'. Listen to 'Tectonic' here. -Ellie Rose-Davies
